About Global Cancer Conference 2014
The Global Cancer Conference-2014 aims to bring in awareness on
Cancer Diagnosis and Therapy that would benefit the mankind as a whole.
The word "Cancer" instills a fear in every mind and is like pronouncing a
death sentence on one afflicted with it. While it is true that Cancer
is devastating disease not only for the family, but to the society in
terms of sufferings and cost of treatment.
India is facing a huge cancer crisis with smoking, belated diagnosis
and unequal access to treatment causing large-scale problems, experts
said “Every year in India, around one million new cancer cases are
diagnosed and around 600,000 to 700,000 people die from cancer in
India”. There are an estimated 14.1 million cancer cases around the
world every year, with this number expected to increase to 24 million by
2035.
Global Cancer Conference-2014 will focus on the latest and exciting
innovations in every area of cancer science research, and it will offer a
unique and unprecedented opportunity for investigators from all over
